Tara Lama Tamang is taking oath as the Finance Minister of the Sudurpaschim state

Dhangadhi- Tara Lama Tamang is to be appointed as the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of the Sudurpaschim state. He will be sworn in this evening.

The delay is due to Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt being in Doti. If he had, the swearing-in ceremony was scheduled for yesterday evening or this morning. Chief Minister's Personal Secretary Prem Kunwar is scheduled to reach Dhangadhi this afternoon.

The name of Maya Tamang Bohara as the Minister of State for Finance is being discussed. He is a member of the Proportional Representation Assembly from Bajhang.

Both the posts are vacant after the then Minister for Economic Affairs Prakash Bahadur Shah and Minister of State for Finance Archana Gahatraj, who had decided to remain in the UML even after the split, resigned.
